We are currently seeking a qualified Middle School Maths & Science Teacher to join the team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who values STEM education and enjoys engaging learners aged 1113 (Grades 68 through handson inquirybased learning.
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths and Science lessons aligned with the Canadian Ontario curriculum.
Foster a dynamic and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity critical thinking and collaboration.
Plan prepare and evaluate teaching materials in line with curriculum goals and student needs.
Use assessments and student feedback to monitor progress and support achievement.
Participate actively in the academic and holistic development of students.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary and projectbased learning.
Integrate technology to enhance learning and support 21stcentury teaching practices.
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Bachelors degree in Mathematics Science or a related field
Experience teaching Maths and Science to middle school students (ages 1113
Strong knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks for STEM subjects
Excellent command of English (C2 level or equivalent)
Confident IT user familiar with digital learning platforms and tools
Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse learning styles
Teamoriented flexible and committed to the schools mission and values
Specialism in Biology or a related scientific discipline
Previous experience in an international school setting
Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Positive proactive mindset with a studentcentred approach
Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
