Job Summary
This is a full time day Clinical Nurse Leader in the Labor and Delivery unit at Northwest Medical Centers Womens Center!
The Northwest Medical Center Womens Center is looking for a caring compassionate and experienced professional to care for mother and baby in the 14 room Labor & Delivery unit. The RN assists physicians during examinations procedures and deliveries performs various patient tests and administers medication within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. The RN relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and manage a variety of potential issues in this fastpaced area. Collaborates with other disciplines to provide care provides support to laboring women and families and provide education.
The RN Charge oversees the operations of a nursing unit during assigned shifts ensuring effective and efficient delivery of highquality patient care. This role supervises nursing staff coordinates care with healthcare teams and maintains compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies while fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
