QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma. Secretarial training a plus.
Five (5) years office experience.
Capacity to act independently with regard to continuing answering the phones monitoring doors corresponding with community agencies (doctor offices childcares etc.) organziging information and materials handling of routine administrative details preparation of reports and sound decisionmaking.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Word (i.e. merges tables sorting labels etc.) Publisher Excel One Note PowerPoint Outlook and to learn new software applications related to the position.
Thorough knowledge of English spelling and punctuation.
Ability to interact in a positive manner with staff educators and the general public and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Good organizational multitasker and selfstarter skills with ability to meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support for both theCoordinator staff and families of the Infants and Toddlers and Preschool Childfind Programs.
Perform routine tasks not limited to typing filing scheduling meetings recording meeting minutes and ordering and inventory of materials.
Oversee payroll procedures for the two departments and extension programs.
Prepare and process task codes.
Handle administrative details independently including screening of telephone calls composition of letters/memos etc. and scheduling of appointments.
Maintain office records files and reports in an efficient manner.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
