SUMMARY
Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problemsolving skills and work well in a team environment.
- Job Summary:
- The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment in ATMC Fab Implant area.
- The tasks include but are not limited to troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems pneumatic and mechanical systems scheduled maintenance consumable changes and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC 5s FDC systems and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety performance and reliability requirements are satisfied. The candidate will be required to understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.
- The position requires working compressed shifts days or nights.
Key Challenges:
- Able to diagnose equipment alarms read operational data and create action plans as needed.
- Able to work in a highvolume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.

- Able to work in a crossfunctional team as needed including associates
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment
- Able to improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool breakdowns
- Monitor and analyze all related tool data make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures
- Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects
- Able to clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily passdown meetings
- Able to provide a clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts
Job Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated problemsolving ability project management skills and knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment
- Candidates must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift
- Additional requirements include Basic computer skills MS Office strong interpersonal and communications skills ability to work with minimum supervision in a fastpaced manufacturing environment strong work ethic with verifiable references.
- Prior experience on the following toolsets is preferred but not required:
- AA AS AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
