Johns Island Post Acute is a gorgeous 132bed skilled nursing and rehab facility in Johns Island SC just 10 minutes away from historic downtown Charleston. We are currently seeking a housekeeper to join our expanding team!

Successful candidates will have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a LongTerm Care or healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential
HOUSEKEEPING: Essential Duties:
- Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby restrooms drinking fountains and floors.
- Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
- Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
- Clean and remove dust dirt or food off walls mirrors windows light fixtures. towel bars towel dispensers.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
- Maintain housekeeping carts equipment and storage areas in a safe sanitary clean and orderly manner.
- Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Ability to pass a drug screen & federal background check
