Helpdesk Support Technician
Job Responsibilities:

This role will:
- Work as a member of The Citadels Information Technology Services team to provide technical IT phone and remote support to the Colleges Faculty Staff and Students.
- Responsible for performing daily tasks through The Citadels IT ticket system
- Remotely discovering and resolving IT software issues: including virus removal software installation account assistance and computer diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Responsible for the development of The Citadels IT Knowledge Base.
- Record processes to relay standard information to entire ITS staff.
- Recognize and identify trend issues in The Citadels community and participate in the resolution of such issues.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
- Associates degree
- Oneyear technical experience in computer system design development maintenance and management OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Windows operating systems technical skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills; strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA A Certification
