Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects for a dynamic industrial automation firm. This role requires expertise in PLC HMI SCADA and DCS/DeltaV systems along with project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will design implement and commission control systems while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring project profitability.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors in Electrical/Control Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
- Licensure: PMP certification a plus
- Experience:
- 8 years in industrial automation (PLC HMI SCADA DCS/DeltaV).
- 23 years minimum with Emerson DeltaV platform.
- Experience in PLC5 to ControlLogix conversions.
- Project management for systems up to $10M.
- Technical Skills:
- PLC platforms: Rockwell Automation Siemens Modicon
- HMI/SCADA: Ignition FactoryTalk Aveva GE iFIX
- Programming: Ladder Logic Structured Text VBA SQL Python
- Industrial networking: Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus
- Soft Skills: Leadership problemsolving client relations and team mentorship
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control system architectures (PLC DCS HMI/SCADA).
- Develop schematics panels and network designs (under 480VAC).
- Lead project execution including budgeting scheduling and profitability.
- Commission systems onsite and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
