Education/Licensure/Credential: Have earned a minimum of an associate degree & must Hold an RT (R) or RCIS (Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRTR Radiography or a imaging : Coronary Cardiac catheterization PCI Impella/IABP PFO Vascular Peripheral angiogram and intervention thrombectomy fistulagram EVAR Limflow revascularization EP Ablation (afib flutter SVT VOM) device placement (pacemaker defibrillator CCM loop recorder) LAAOOnCall: STEMI call required approximately 89 days of call per month including one weekend. Holiday call required rotates on an annual basis at least one major (Christmas Thanksgiving New Years) and one minor (Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day). Schedule: Four 10hour shifts 7:005:30pm your day off will not be the same day each weekExperience: 2 years Cath EP or Vascular experience preferred. Willing to crosstrain IR SUMMARY The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist under general supervision helps Physicians during catheterization / electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment instructs patients monitors patients condition and provides routine and emergency patient care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Help in daily monthly and or quarterly quality control initiative through auditing and FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEHelps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations permanent pacemaker implantations implantable cardiac defibrillators diagnostic and interventional peripheral and coronary interventional and thrombolytic national and state radiation protection regulations for patients self and staff.
