These may include abdominal Ob/Gyn cardiac vascular musculoskeletal and small parts. This position examines the patients clinical history to identify the examinations purpose. It frames the clinical questions the examination aims to answer and expands the examination as Functions of the RolePerforms various specialty ultrasound procedures using different equipment and techniques. Makes necessary measurements for accurate and highquality interpretation and defines abnormalities specific to the procedure. Extends the examination scope appropriately deviating from standard techniques when necessary. Correlates other diagnostic test results with anatomy and function. Utilizes appropriate protection measures during assist physicians in procedure and operating rooms by performing ultrasound studies. This aids in complex procedures and decreases risk patients for procedures and obtains clinical history including physical findings and lab data. Adapts imaging techniques for comprehensive exams to avoid errors. Explains the purpose of the ultrasound examination to the patient and answers team members must follow policies procedures and workflows. These include PACS EMR image exchange systems modality worklist integrity record management and BioMed Success FactorsMust be familiar with approved clinical protocols for each type of ultrasound examination to be meet all qualifications for any two of these specialties: Ob/Gyn cardiac vascular musculoskeletal or small parts. Work at least 25% of the time in the second modality. Pediatric and adult scopes are separate specialties by and ability to apply complex sonographic methods instrumentation and of relevant anatomy and physiology for each different of proper infection control including precautionary of relevant laws regarding patient confidentiality and to interact and communicate effectively both orally and in writing with healthcare providers including other sonographers physicians and in the utilization of computers and medical to serve as trainer by providing quality training to new team members and on new services and to take call if StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed valued and supported and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we Grad of an Accredited ProgramEXPERIENCE 2 Years of ExperienceCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION Fetal Echocardiography (FE)/Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK)/Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)/Reg Dig Card SonAdult Echo (RDCSAE)/ (PE) (RDCSPE)/Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (RDMS)/Reg Diag Med SonoAbdomen (AB) (RDMSAB)/Reg Diag Med SonoBreast (BR) (RDMSBR)/Reg Diag Med SonoOB/GYN (OB) (RDMSOB)/RDMSPediatric Sonography (PS) (RDMSPS)/Registered Vascular Tech (RVT)ARDMS in (AB) or (OB) or RVT (ARDMS): Must have 2 years of related Multispecialty Experience andMust have TWO of the following in separate specialties:ARDMS RDMS: AB BR OB/GYN PS/ARDMS RDCS: AE FE PE/ARDMS RVT/ARDSM RMSKS/ARRT S VS Life Support (BLS): BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
