Status: Salary NonExempt
Location: Hills & Dales Development Center
Schedule: MonFri 8AM5PM on call weekend rotation as needed
The Facilities Manager is responsible for creating and executing a systemwide vision for the management and maintenance of all facilities grounds transportation and emergency services across the organization. This leadership role ensures operations are costeffective compliant with all regulations and aligned with the agencys mission and values. The role also includes oversight of daytoday operations and strategic planning related to facilities and infrastructure needs.
Implement and oversee a comprehensive facilities and maintenance schedule.
Maintain HVAC plumbing and laundry equipment across all buildings.
Conduct routine repairs deep cleaning and furniture maintenance.
Oversee vehicle maintenance and manage the transportation fleet.
Ensure groundskeeping snow removal and emergency readiness.
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including OSHA CARF and licensing standards.
Participate in safety programs and serve on the Health & Safety Committee.
Maintain updated documentation and reporting for QA and inspections.
Hire train supervise and evaluate department staff.
Promote professional development and implement departmental best practices.
Schedule and lead departmental meetings.
Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
Oversee capital improvement projects and vendor contracts.
Lead facilityrelated strategic planning including longterm infrastructure planning.
Coordinate organizational transportation needs and manage the fleet.
Ensure all vehiclerelated operations meet safety and regulatory standards.
Strong understanding of facility management emergency preparedness and transportation logistics.
Proven ability in project management and operational efficiency.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of OSHA licensing and health standards.
Technical proficiency in office software and project management tools.
Physical ability to perform manual labor lift 50 lbs and respond to emergencies.
AA Degree or certifications in plumbing electrical or HVAC preferred.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
Minimum 2 years in project management and/or facility administration.
Experience with multisite facilities and capital projects preferred.
Valid Drivers License and ability to obtain a CDL.
Indoor and outdoor environments with occasional exposure to varied weather conditions.
Requires bending lifting climbing and standing for extended periods.
Participation in oncall emergency rotation.
Travel within the community as needed.
Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check dependernt adult and child abuse background check and drug screen.
