The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Flight Simulation Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to join the Flight Simulation Labs located in Berkeley MO.
This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team and the applicant will be working in a fastpaced environment supporting Flight Simulation hardware requiring technical skills in both electronic hardware development and trouble shooting. In this role you will be supporting repairs and modifications to Boeing manufactured Lab equipment and Simulators.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Flight Simulation Test & Evaluation Lab Technician.
Position Responsibilities:
Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers monitors audio systems visual systems crew stations and rack equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
Design fabricate build and analyze test systems materials components and methodologies
Conduct system test preparations by coordinating system integration fabrication modification setup checkout and teardown
Conduct tests analyze data and documents results; participate in test readiness reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down time
Coordinate test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
Work under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
(Level 2) 1 year of work related experience with an Associates or related work experience with a Bachelors or 3 years of work related experience
(Level 3) 3 years of work related experience with an Associates or 1 years of related work experience with a Bachelors or 5 years of work related experience
Experience working with electronics mechanical systems in design fabrication or test troubleshooting
