Job Description
Principal at Morristown Elementary School. This is a 205 day contract. The position will work with students and staff in Kindergarten 5th grade.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain vision and direction for 21st century teaching and learning in the building
- Develop and expand community based learning opportunities with parents and other stakeholders
- Maintain building level application of district initiatives and goals
- Oversight of day to day operations within the school setting
- Recruitment and Retention of certified and support staff
- Supervision and evaluation of certified and support staff
- Work with preschool director to maintain and continue to develop preschool programming childcare programming and successful transitions into kindergarten
Job Qualifications
- Successful classroom teaching experience
- Valid Indiana Administrators License
- Preference given to candidates with successful administrative experience in a school setting.
