Do you love working with tech and solving handson problems Join our team as an Electronic Security Technician 2 and help keep Oregons state buildings secure and running smoothly.

At the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) we empower state and local agencies to serve all Oregonians. From technology and finance to HR and facility management we provide essential services that make a difference. If youre ready to play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure while supporting meaningful public service we want to hear from you!

What Youll Do:

Youll install program and fix hightech security systems in state buildings around Portland. These include electronic access systems video cameras fire alarms intercoms ADA door openers and more. Youll make sure doors open when they should alarms sound when needed and video systems keep watch 24/7.

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications:

A current Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license or other approved limited journeyman license (LEA LEB) issued by the Oregon Building Codes Division AND Six (6) years of experience in the installation maintenance or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems;

OR

A General Journeyman Electrician license AND six (6) years of experience in the installation maintenance or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems.

Special Qualifications:

You are required to possess and maintain a valid drivers license issued by the state where you reside.
