Job Description
POSITION:FlatbedTruck Driver (CDL A)
SHIFT: Monday Friday Various Hours (5060 hours per week)
PAY RATE: $27$32hr DOE (Est. annual earnings $80k to $110k based on average OT)
LOCATION: Fargo ND
Home most nights and weekends! Wellmaintained latemodel sleeper trucks. Haul oversized steel pipe/beams/columns/girders!

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver freight of all kinds to customers in a safe professional and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Load securement and assist in the loading and unloading of freight.
- Must have a CDL Class A license when applicable and clean driving record.
- Overnight and weekend trips are occasionally required.
- Ability to read and understand permit routes and requirements.
- Maintain neat and accurate records (fuel mileage expense logs etc.)
- Ability to read and understand paperwork.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be professional at all times
- Must be a safe and defensive driver
- Must have knowledge of load securement and DOT HOS as per FMCSR
- Accountability Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Communication Oral Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
- Customer Oriented Ability to take care of the customers needs while following company procedures
- Active Listening Ability to actively attend to convey and understand the comments and questions of others
- Initiative Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Safety Awareness Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Verifiable driving experience.
- Special endorsements certifications and/or passport may be required.
- May be required to obtain the proper permits for oversized loads.
