Patient and chatty Support Worker wanted in Eckington Sheffield Derbyshire
Want to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy the things that they love
Hello we are a are a house of female individuals that live in the Eckington area. We are looking for someone that can support our interests and help us be as active as possible.
We have a lot of different interests between us. Some of our favourite things are:
- Music
- Eating out
- Cross Stitch
- Walking
- Swimming
- Cooking
- Gardening
We are looking for someone wo has the following qualities:
- Lively and is able to support us to be as active as possible
- Able to balance time to give personcentred support to lots of people
- Sense of humour and will have a laugh with us
- Able to work as part of a team
- Patient and friendly
- Committed reliable and a team player
- Chatty and able to involve us in our support
- It is essential that you can work weekends sleepins and bank holidays
Due to us some of us having mobility cars at the property it would be beneficial for you to have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive mobility cars.
Whether you have lots of experience or are new to care we want to hear from you because full training and induction is given.
As this post will be responsible for providing personal care for female service users we are seeking female applicants only. Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
