The Decision Scientist role at Ontario Health is an exciting opportunity to join the Data and Decision Sciences (DDS) team within Sector Planning and Capacity Optimization. This position focuses on Health System Modelling & Analytics and requires deep expertise in advanced analytical modeling and operations research to support health system insights and decisionmaking. As a Decision Scientist you will leverage your strong foundation in mathematical programming statistical modeling forecasting simulation modeling and Machine Learning to develop evidencebased tools that inform strategic and operational decisions across the healthcare system. You will work collaboratively with clinical and business programs and senior leadership at Ontario Health acting as a trusted advisor in advancing access quality sustainability and patient experience across the province.

In this role you will contribute to DDSled initiatives by developing predictive and prescriptive models supporting analytics efforts and conducting statistical inference using observational data. You will also support or lead AI and Machine Learning projects playing a key role in building models that uncover patterns predict clinical and business outcomes and recommend actions under a range of future scenarios.
