As Computer Graphics Designer you plan create develop and execute graphic design concepts to support content for all types of programs and visual material.
Key duties:
Design and execute as informed and instructed visual elements (still or animated images) to support the content of any type of program and visual document.
Work with various stakeholders who will deliver services so that you can complete projects within production guidelines and schedules.
Keep up with the latest trends in the various arts design and technology fields.
Assist in building and maintaining an image database (video digital etc.) for reference consultation and integration purposes on projects.
Please note that this is an on call position.
Job requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in graphic communications interactive multimedia design (graphic design) or other relevant diploma
One (1) or more years experience performing similar or related duties
Skills:
Proficiency with Photoshop
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an asset
Good knowledge of the media especially the TV industry
Good knowledge of current events and keen interest in working in a newsroom environment
Very good knowledge of spoken and written French
Knowledge of spoken and written English is an asset
Ability to work well under pressure for extended periods
Excellent interpersonal skills
