Senior Business Operations Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4) to join our Business Operations team in Seal Beach California.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and integration of strategies and processes within Customer Support including integration with Boeing Global Services and BCA Engineering counterparts.

• Lead Customer Support CCB0 for Out of Production SOW approvals

• Lead the implementation of an improved Out of Production change commitment/schedule management process it ensure engineering deliverables are are properly scheduled/tracked.

• Collect organize and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of projects to ensure successful execution and integration across the value stream.

• Lead the coordination of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.

• Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines project plans as needed.

• Coordinate and clarify the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and objectives.

• Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.

• Experience working with and communicating with executive leadership

• Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 3 years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

• 3 years of experience in advising and influencing managers or nonmanagers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

• 3 years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders

• 1 year of experience managing projects & using standard project management tools (ex. Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint SharePoint status charts etc.)

• 3 years of experience facilitating meetings & presenting to senior leaders

• 1 years of experience developing and integrating strategic projects plans and initiatives to meet business goals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion

• 3 years of experience with MS Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Project)

• 3 years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting
