About the Role
You will be required
To develop the knowledge base clinical competencies and practical procedure skills research basics and selfeducation habits.
To undertake radiological service delivery to the Departments patients consulting service to external clinical units intraextra department teaching and radiology research under the supervision of Director of interventional Radiology.
Attend DSA lab clinic ward rounds and areas as indicated by the Director of Interventional Radiology.
Maintain active communication with MIT and Nursing staff rostered to that area and with supervising consultant radiology to ensure active management of daily worklist and availability of medical staff.
Report andperform procedures (as relevant to work area) within limits of own competence and under supervision of consultant radiologist rostered to the area
OnCall Component is 1 in 2 weeks or 1 in 3 weeks.
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40 $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
Your Contribution
Medical Degree from a medical school recognised in Victoria
Registration with Medical Board of Australia (current or eligible)
Good standing with own Medical Defence Organisation
Successful completion of an intern year and at least one postintern year
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain

St Vincents Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is a leading teaching research and tertiary health service. SVHM provides a diverse range of adult clinical services and is driven by values of Compassion Justice Integrity and Excellence.
St Vincents Medical Imaging provides a comprehensive imaging and guided therapy service across the Fitzroy Campus to support and facilitate the needs of a quaternary hospital. The Imaging Department is run as three distinct services:
Public Medical Imaging Department (MID) located in the main inpatient services (IPS) building
MRI and PET located in Daly basement
St Vincents Private Radiology (SVPR) located in Basement of 55 Victoria Pde Fitzroy.
DSA suite within Main Inpatient Building and access to St Vincents Private Hospital Vascular lab.
