Job Description

F/A18 Quality Assurance Representative

Company:

Boeing Aerospace Operations

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support F/A18 maintenance efforts at JRB New Orleans LA. The individual will work closely with the F/A18 Global Technical Operations Leadership to support the planning execution and delivery of Quality products and services.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills capability and experience to maximize individual and team performance.

  • Performs inspections on aircraft for maintenance activities on the F/A18 platform

  • Maintains Quality directives policies processes procedures and metrics to assure program contract customer regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures

  • Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems

  • Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards configuration assurance related business regulatory and customer requirements

  • Documents audit results in standard formats

  • Works under general supervision

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • 5 years aircraft mechanics experience
  • 3 years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI CDQAR QAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Technical data experience (IETMS)
  • DCMA INST 82101D experience
  • AS9100 Revision D experience
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
