What You Will Be Doing

• Develop deploy and maintain applications and solutions usingIgnition Platformsoftware.
• Write clean efficient and reusable Python code for system integrations automation and data processing.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design implement and optimize industrial and business systems.
• Create and maintain Ignition projects including visualization scripting and database connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ignition applications Python scripts and supporting infrastructure.
• Work with SQL databases to query analyze and manipulate data for various applications.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers or team members as needed.
• Document development processes workflows and system configurations.
• Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends tools and technologies related to It OT Industrial IoT and industrial automation.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
• 24 years of professional experience in software development IT or industrial automation required.
• Handson experience withIgnition Platform (design configuration scripting and troubleshooting).
• Proficiency inPython programmingfor automation and system integration.
• Strong understanding ofSQL databases(querying optimization and integration).
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g. OPC MQTT) and their application in SCADA systems.
• Excellent problemsolving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with Ignition Perspective or Vision modules.
• Familiarity with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs HMIs or IoT devices.
• Knowledge of scripting languages or frameworks beyond Python (e.g. JavaScript Java).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies or experience working in Agile teams.
