Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst

Company:

The Boeing Companys Dallas Special Projects team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the training systems program in Richardson TX or Hazelwood MO. The analyst selected for this position will be responsible for the development of Estimate at Complete (EACs) management of program budgets and funding logs on a portfolio of cost plus contracts and the preparation and delivery of monthly contractual deliverables. This role requires strong analytical skills proficiency in financial analysis and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and working in secure environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead review and analyze cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines including earned value and variance analyses and communicates Earned Value Management (EVM) trends
  • Demonstrate skills in developing an EAC position based on historical performance Center of Excellence (COE) inputs and comprehensive program knowledge
  • Build strong relationships with Program Managers Finance COEs and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections leveraging financial and business expertise
  • Prepares presentation materials and effectively conveying key messages to program management and senior leadership
  • Develops analyzes and submits monthly programmatic EVM data to the government
  • Develops the annual LRBP monthly financial forecasting and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) customer reporting
  • Provides financial guidance and leadership to new business campaigns and sole source pursuits

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 3 years of experience in a Finance Accounting Business or related role
  • Experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently holds a TopSecret Clearance
  • Experience working with financial tools such as Cost Schedule Planning and Reporting (CSPR) Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE) Financial Project Cost Report (FPCR) and Enterprise Accounting System (EAS)
  • Experience using strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Experience preparing and leading the completion of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) (Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Contract Performance Report (CPR) Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR) etc.)

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance PostStart is required.
