Job Description
We are Telura a young and ambitious startup in the field of drilling e.g. for geothermal applications. Our mission is to drill deeper than ever before and make yet abundant resources available.
We are now looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join us early and play a key role in shaping our success story!
Tasks
- Develop and design our drill bit and drilling system from initial concept to market launch
- Build prototypes and conduct testing and validation
- Work closely with the founders and product team on product strategy and technical decisions
- Set up and improve processes for development and manufacturingSelect and collaborate with external partners and suppliers
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 25 years of professional experience in product development design or manufacturing engineering
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks Inventor or similar) and common manufacturing technologies
- Handson mentality: you enjoy building iterating and finding creative solutions
- Structured and independent working style with a willingness to take ownership
- Willingness to travel occasionally to partners suppliers and customer sites
- You are comfortable working in a hybrid setup (remote onsite collaboration when needed)
- Ideally experience working in a startup or dynamic development environment
