Job Description

Now Hiring: Elementary SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP)School Year

Are you a passionate SpeechLanguage Pathologist looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners We re searching for a dedicated SLP to join an enthusiastic elementary education team for theacademic year. This fulltime schoolbased position offers an exciting opportunity to support students communication development in a collaborative studentcentered environment.

In this role you ll provide comprehensive speech and language services including assessments therapy and progress monitoring. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of communication challenges including articulation language fluency and social communication needs. Your expertise will directly impact students ability to access the curriculum engage with peers and build confidence in their communication skills.

You ll collaborate with teachers special education staff and families to align speech services with each student s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Your responsibilities will include attending IEP meetings maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on student growth. Strong communication time management and problemsolving skills are essential in this role as is a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and participation.

Requirements

  • Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Georgia licensure as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) preferred; CFYs are welcome to apply with supervision provided
  • Strong understanding of IEP development documentation and progress tracking
  • Experience in an educational setting working with diverse student populations is highly desirable
