Salary Range: $31200.00 annually / $16.00 hourly
Contract Term Length:12 Months
Standard Hours:37.50

Job Summary
The M&O Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a fulltime Grounds Worker.
Job Duties:
The primary duties of these positions are mowing grass weeding and trimming.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Grounds cleanup
Planting
Mulching
Trimming
Equipment moves
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ensures cleanliness orderliness and safety in assigned areas.
1. Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
2. Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances reports issues to appropriate entities.
3. Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment documents inventory and requests additional supplies as needed.
4. Documents and reports repairs violations and pest control needs.
5. Provides grounds keeping services and maintains clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris litter snow and ice.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED and one year related experience or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and ability to operate lawn and weed eating equipment. Some landscape knowledge

Physical Requirements:
x Moderate: Regularly involves lifting bending or other physical exertions often exposed to disagreeable environmental elements (heat cold dirt chemicals etc.)
