Job Description
Our client in Cow Hollow San Francisco is looking to hire a FullTime Nanny / Light Housekeeper (LiveIn or LiveOut). They have a 22 month old and another child on the way.
Start Date:May (flexible)
Compensation: $45 $50/hour Depending on experience
Job Details / Schedule :
40 hrs/week Friday with flexibility for weekend work when needed
Flexibility for 50 hrs depending on candidate and responsibilities
Some evening/weekend shifts e.g. occasional date nights family dinners or a few hours on a weekend day (can decide jointly)
Some travel required (mostly domestic weekend trips; we do 1 international trip/year which isnt required)
Family:
Toddler Girl (22 months) newborn Boy arriving in June
Baby nurse JuneAugust; newborn support begins in September
Toddler starts preschool 2x/week (mornings) in September expanding to 5x/week (mornings) next year
What This Role Looks Like
This is a dynamic evolving position that supports our home and family wherever its needed most whether thats focused time with our daughter helping with the baby (starting in September) or assisting around the house during quieter moments.
Well build a clear weekly structure together and that routine will evolve as the kids needs change. The goal isnt to do everything every day its to be adaptable helpful and comfortable teaming up depending on what the day looks like.
For example: one morning mom might be with the toddler and need support with the baby or vice versa she might be with baby and need help picking up toddler from school or taking her to a park. Other times if both kids are with the parents or grandparents wed value help around the house like tidying prepping meals or resetting the space.
Were also looking for someone whos open to occasional schedule shifts like covering an evening if we have a work dinner or helping on a weekend morning if we agree thats the best time to reset the house or get outside with the toddler.
We value structure collaboration and dependability and are looking for someone who can also go with the flow when needed without stress or fuss.
Examples of DaytoDay Tasks (Varies by Day):
Take toddler to classes (e.g. gymnastics) the park or neighborhood outings (we typically go out AM and PM)
Engage toddler at home reading books creative play arts & crafts etc.
Feed toddler meals (e.g. lunch); prepare simple healthy food if needed
Help with newborn care starting in September (3 months old: naps bottles diapering soothing)
Light housekeeping: dishes tidying organizing baby laundry vacuuming
Keep common areas clean and organized (weekly cleaners handle deep cleaning)
Be an extension of mom collaborative helpful tuned in to whats needed
Occasional travel with family for weekend trips; evening or weekend help as needed

Clean and tidy by nature with an eye for keeping things in order
Comfortable working independently or alongside parents
Can drive (preferred; car can be provided) or confidently use public transit
Flexible with scheduling and open to adjusting hours when needed
