DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works under the supervision of a certified classroom teacher to provide targeted instruction and supplemental support to identified elementary students in the content area of literacy in an online or inperson environment (contingent on student enrollment). Experience with district curriculum including Flyleaf Sonday and/or iReady instructional resources is desired. Duties will also include materials preparation student support in application of skills and student supervision
LOCATION: Inperson at Canyon Creek Elementary School or online via Zoom.
Program size will be determined by student enrollment choices and staff will be assigned accordingly. If staff have a specific preference for online or inperson we will do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee an inperson or online assignment.
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday
Tentative InPerson and Online Schedule
8:00 a.m. 8:30 a.m. Student Arrival/Coplanning/Family Communication
8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. Live Instruction with Students
11:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Student Dismissal/CoPlanning/Family Communication
DATES
Live Instruction (online or inperson): Monday July 7 to Thursday July 24
Professional Development and Training: TBD (48 hours in June/July)
Employees need to be available for all scheduled program days.
SALARY
Paraeducator salary range: Current indistrict Paraeducators will receive their regular hourly rate of pay substitute paraeducator will receive the substitute rate.
