Summary:
Reports to the Resort General Manager (GM) and monitors building and unit efficiency and performance. Directs and coordinates daily activities of maintenance personnel. Supports efforts in meeting company guest satisfaction goals including RCI Hospitality
Distinction expectations. Has a support responsibility to all functional officers directors and managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Submits information to the GM regarding schedules and coordinates staffing and weekly Team Meetings with team members.
• Submits vacation requests for consideration and submits inventory needs supply requests and communicates onsite maintenance requirements to the GM on a routine basis.
• Responsible for providing and coordinating manpower for daily shift coverage and emergency oncall hours (as needed).
• Responsible for supporting management efforts in training attire grooming and productivity of departmental staff and coordinating departmental staffing efforts for overall building maintenance appearance lighting laundry facilities landscaping
  upkeep and pool & spa management.
• Monitors major equipment pressure gauges temperatures greases and services major equipment on a monthly basis and when needed.
• Responsible for general building interior and exterior maintenance service calls planned preventative maintenance pool upkeep and landscaping. Knowledgeable of ADA pool lift procedures and periodic maintenance.
• Responsible for overall building knowledge and identify report and minimize abnormal maintenance conditions safety hazards or unsafe practices. Fully knowledgeable of all emergency procedures.
• Responds to daily maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
• Produces reports for housekeeping/maintenance and ensures all logs are up to date.
• Supports other departments in light cleaning maintenance housekeeping marketing and HR activities when needed.
• Responsible for tracking maintaining safe condition use and inventory of maintenance supplies tools and resources and reporting incidents to management as appropriate.
• Provides onsite activities area attractions events and other vacation information to owners/guests. Solicits client referrals timeshare tour opportunities online satisfaction reviews and customer feedback for improvement.
• Performs related duties as assigned or as situation dictates.

Education and Experience:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have proven maintenance experience with a wellrounded maintenance background
• Must have a proven ability to lead train counsel manage team members
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; with ability to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the company organization
• Must have computer experience with knowledge of MS Office products
• Must be willing to attend company paid trade courses as needed
• Must have the ability to resolve common problems and concerns of owners/guests in a professional manner
• Must have or attain pool certification

Physical Requirements:

While performing the essential duties of this job the employee is commonly required to stand talk or hear. Additionally employees in this position are frequently required to walk use hands to lift place handle feel stoop kneel and crouch when stocking shelving etc. Employees must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Lifting items over 25 pounds will be done with equipment or two or more employees.
