SUMMARY
Seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who can work in a team environment as well as alone. This position will be responsible for equipment maintenance/repairs and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Cooperstown facility. Our brewery and beautiful 140 acres of grounds are an extension of our brand and we take pride in maintaining a beautiful and inviting environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform intermediatelevel maintenance tasks on the production floor
- Perform routine facility maintenance throughout all of Ommegangs operations including but not limited to lighting plumbing etc.
- Assist with troubleshooting and upgrades of facility infrastructure
- Maintain grounds appearance
- Help prepare facility for events
- Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory
- Intermediate level machine troubleshooting and repair
- Preforming PMS on all machines and equipment
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years facilities and machine maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
- Strong industrial electrical knowledge and PLC knowledge a plus
- Strong Verbal/Written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with all peers

- Must be able to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Participate in weekly rotating oncall schedule
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work from heights
- Ability to drive heavy equipment (lawn care/snow removal)
- Metal fabrication skills a plus (welding machining)
- Basic computer skills to be able to use/manage maintenance tracking system

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally 100 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Climbing ladders and steps
- Reaching Bending and twisting overhead below the waist and across the body.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Compensation: $21.00 $27.00 per hour
