How you will make an impact:
The Shipping Operator assists with preparing outgoing shipments.
- Obtain and process product orders including proper labeling and postal charges.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues that arise and notify supervisor as needed of items that require additional attention.
- Inspect shipments to ensure they meet Meissners standards.
- Organizing items ready for shipment in appropriate areas.
- Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
This is an onsite role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo CA.
The skills and experience youll need:
- Some shipping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record production results.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

US BASE PAY SCALE $18.25/hr
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicants experience.
