Mobile Lab Tech
Overview: Our engineering client is seeking a detailoriented Mobile Lab Technician to join their team in the Anoka/Minneapolis area. In this role youll be responsible for traveling to various sites to collect and analyze samples for asbestos mold and lead. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in environmental testing strong knowledge of industry regulations and excellent communication skills.
This is adirect hire position.
What you will be doing as aMobile Lab Tech
Travel to client sites to collect samples for asbestos mold and lead testing.
Follow established protocols and use proper equipment for sample collection.
Conduct onsite testing using approved laboratory methods and tools.
Assess buildings and structures to identify potential environmental hazards.
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings test results and recommendations.
Communicate results and next steps clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Skills you ideally bring to the table as aMobile Lab Tech
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Chemistry Biology or a related field preferred.
Certifications in asbestos mold and lead testing strongly preferred.
Proven experience in field or laboratory testing for environmental hazards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel regularly within the region and work flexible hours as needed.
