Valet Part Time AM/PM $16 per hour plus tips Sonesta White
We are seeking enthusiastic Valet/Guest Service Associates to provide aggressive hospitality to hotel guests at Sonesta White Plains. $16$20 PER HOUR BASE RATE TIPS.
AVAILABILITY TO WORKEVENINGS WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS!.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Interaction:
- Greet and welcome all guests in a proper manner.
- Explain prices and the car retrieval procedure clearly to guests.
- Open hotel doors for guests and assist with luggage.
- Offer information about the services and facilities of the hotel points of interest and entertainment attractions.
- Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
2. Vehicle Handling:
- Fill out valet ticket properly and conduct vehicle damage check
- Retrieve and park vehicles for guests quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain keys in an organized and secure manner.
3. Appearance and Presentation:
- Maintain a clean professional and wellgroomed appearance at all times adhering to AAA Parkings uniform and appearance standards.
- Ensure the valet area is clean organized and inviting.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate valet operations.
- Support team members during busy periods or special events.
5. Safety and Security:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the security of guests and their vehicles.
- Report any accidents injuries or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform routine inspections of the valet area and equipment.
6. Maintain The AAAs of Service:
- Attitude: A positive cando attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Appearance: Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance reflecting the high standards of our clients and AAA Parking.
- Assistance: A genuine desire to assist guests going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license in the state in which you will be working (if you are an outofstate college student you must have a valid license in your state of residence)
- Pass a preemployment background check including drug MVR and criminal background check
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Must be able to speak read and write Standard English
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Must be able to stand during entire shift
- Must be able to regularly stand walk run use hands to finger handle feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Must have close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus
