Nursery Room Leader Toddler Room

Salary: 30000 per annum
Hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week

Our client a warm and welcoming Nursery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dynamic toddler team.

The successful candidate will lead a busy toddler room fostering a safe stimulating and caring environment for children. With a focus on childcentred learning this role calls for a passionate early years professional who can inspire both children and colleagues alike.

Requirements

  • A relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • At least 2 years postqualification experience in a nursery setting.
  • Experience working specifically with toddlers is essential.
  • A confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the toddler room team ensuring outstanding care and education for all children.
  • Create and deliver ageappropriate activities and learning opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers supporting childrens development both at nursery and at home.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and all relevant legislation.
  • Support and mentor junior staff promoting continuous professional development within the team.
