Job Description
Medical Assistant
Mountlake Terrace WA
Northwest Pain Management is expanding our staff and we are currently looking for a fulltime Medical Assistant CNA or scribe. We are committed to be the preferred provider of pain management services in the region with our primary location is in Mountlake Terrace. Our team has made a positive difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional pain care. As a MA in our clinic each day you will improve the lives of patients suffering from chronic pain through assisting in the use of medical evaluation treatment and management strategies characterized by excellence in patient services.
As a Medical Assistant your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting Physician and Advanced Practice Provider in the clinical setting
- Data Entry
- Scribing
- Obtaining prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Patient insurance verification
- Triage patient calls and concerns
- Assist with interventional procedures
- Assist with scheduling
Schedule: MondayThursday 8AM5PM Friday 9AM2PM. MAs do not work weekends holidays or evening hours.
Qualities that we are looking for in a candidate are:
- Reliable team player
- Well organized
- Positive attitude
- Great Communication Skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
- MultiTasking
- Flexibility in availability to cover shifts when needed
- Reliable transportation
- MA certification preferred but not required.
Compensation: Starting wage $20 to $23 an hour depending on experience
