Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing
The Bill Munday School of Business
St. Edwards University a nationally ranked independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) invites applications for a fulltime 9month tenuretrack position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing Operations and Analytics beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will teach inperson undergraduate and online graduate courses across the Marketing curriculum; maintain an active high quality research program leading to refereed publications in the discipline; develop new courses and curriculum as needed; provide academic advising and mentoring for undergraduate students; interact with the business and nonprofit communities to develop experiential learning opportunities for students; serve on committees at the department school and university levels; and fulfill other required faculty responsibilities as outlined in the St. Edwards University Faculty Manual.
Teaching emphasis will be on contemporary marketing practices including principles of marketing digital marketing social media marketing and analytics. The Department of Marketing Operations and Analytics has created an innovative curriculum in digital marketing emphasizing the digital expertise needed across all aspects of this area. Specific classroom competencies sought include: digital marketing including digital strategy search marketing email marketing web site design and optimization mobile marketing data analytics artificial intelligence and machine learning social media marketing marketing technology customer experience marketing and consumer behavior. The successful candidate will have the technical skills commensurate with teaching these subjects.
