Represent the organization as an advocate in its commitment to consistent and fair labor and employment practices.
Develop implement and maintain Collective Bargaining Agreements MOAs and Settlements.
Investigate and support investigations conducted by other Departments regarding CBA violations discipline and other HRrelated matters.
Identify proactive opportunities for increasing awareness knowledge training and education of management and employees regarding the correct application of collectively bargained language.
Support negotiation processes.
Stay current on arbitration and settlement trends within the applicable internationals and beyond.
Prepare arbitration cases for litigation and interact with outside counsel.
Hear and respond to grievances.
Provide support as needed throughout HR organization on issues related to employment labor and compliance law.
Provide LR contract interpretation and administration support for management and workforce on the deckplates.
Required/Preferred Education/Training
Training in conflict resolution labor relations HR/LR case management and communications preferred.
Required/Preferred Experience
35 year work experience in Human Resources or Labor Relations required.
Strong organizational skills required.
Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations pertaining to Labor Law preferred.
Experience with grievance case management strongly preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Proven ability to work with all levels of a company.
Ability to manage and deal with conflict time management and stressful situations.
Ability to provide crossfunctional support in other Human Resources areas as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and computerbased software.
Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis and data management.
Proven ability as a team player and team leader within a company.
