Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 14.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 15 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position in Dr. Huangs research lab. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The student will assist with catalyst synthesis and carry out basic characterization.
- The student will help set up and monitor electrocatalytic reactions including preparing materials recording data during testing and analyzing results afterward.
Required Competencies
- Basic laboratory experience especially in material synthesis
Familiarity with safety procedures in a lab setting
Ability to follow instructions and document results clearly
Interest in catalysis nanomaterials or energy research
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum Requirements
- Major or minor in chemistry
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Completed coursework in General Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry
Prior laboratory experience in chemistry
