Summary of Job Duties:
The Inventory Control Technician accepts and stocks all food and produce orders upon delivery in their respective areas of preparation for patient cafeteria and catering services. The Inventory Control Technician must meet time requirements of distribution of food and supplies maintain clean and safe storage areas and work cooperatively with all other employees. This position assists with special functions and food preparation as needed.

Minimum:
- High School Diploma OR GED.
- 1 Year of Inventory Control Experience.

Key Responsibilites:
- Responsible for issuing all food products to employee when they report to storage area. Responsible for checking off items and signing delivery invoices upon receipt.
- Assist with printing requisition sheets that departments enter through electronic inventory system or preestablished pull sheets. Build carts for pickup or delivery of requisition sheets for all areas of the hospital.
- Responsible for proper utilization of storage space and rotation of all food items and supplements.
- Responsible for dating and labeling all stock upon receipt. Keeps all walkin coolers freezers and storage areas clean. Proper storage and rotation of dairy products fresh produce and vegetables meats and seafood (and thawing these items as necessary for the cycle menu).
- Interacts with and assists the public in a professional and friendly manner as needed. Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information; maintains strict confidentiality when necessary.
- Demonstrates positive working relationships with coworkers management team and ancillary departments; follows the Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care and the Basic Code of Conduct Guidelines.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders as needed with exceptional customer service.
Salary Information:
$31200.00 Annual $15.00 Hourly
