The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMl)IBioFabUSA is a Memberbased nonprofit organization founded to build the biofabrication industry and transform the future of healthcare. ARMI provides wraparound commercialization services to companies seeking to bring lifesaving regenerative technologies to patients as well as to innovators seeking to commercialize enabling technologies that will grow the industrys impact.
In this role you will lead ARMIs commercialization efforts collaborating deeply across teams engaging external stakeholders and applying technical and business expertise to drive the advancement of novel technologies toward patients and the market.
Your Role
- Partner with internal and key external stakeholders to establish a flexible and responsive commercialization process for innovations being developed by ARMI our members and collaborators
- Apply technical and business expertise to enable and speed technology advancement toward commercialization while decreasing time to market
- Jointly with members and collaborators guide the development and implementation of impactful companyspecific commercialization strategies
- Plan and coordinate activities across teams to ensure timely and successful execution of commercialization strategies
- Build stakeholder relationships that enrich and connect the local regional and national cellbased and enabling technology innovation ecosystem
- Grow ARMIs existing engagement with the investment community generating connections that lead to positive outcomes for both companies and investors
- Be a trusted valued resource and thought leader for creating highimpactdatadriven business and commercialization strategies
- Establish effective internal and external communication and reporting processes
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor of Science Degree in life sciences or engineering discipline plus a Masters of Business Administration Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a product management strategic marketing or product lifecycle management role in a life sciences medical device or biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience working in a stagegate product development environment
- Demonstrated experience with the full product life cycle of taking at least one concept from ideation to product commercialization
- Proven ability to develop business cases for new product concepts that include market analysis VOC research competitive landscape assessment requirement definition and financial modeling
- Proficient in creating commercialization plans establishing pricing strategies and defining compelling value propositions
- Ability to build lasting relationships and influence colleagues members and external stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Capable of managing multiple commercialization efforts at the same time
- Exceptional interpersonal and strategic communication skills
