We are looking for a highly motivated technically savvy Fiber Delivery Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (FDTIPM) to help develop and scale one of the worlds largest and most complex networks. The FDTIPM is responsible for managing highly technical cost efficient and fast paced communication construction project schedules to keep pace with and enable AWS Network growth. FDTIPMs are constantly challenged and empowered to drive continuous improvement and deliver the highest quality most technically efficient connectivity solutions in the world.
As a FDTIPM you will be a part of highly creative and efficient team of diverse backgrounds and expertise tasked with tackling the most fascinating and challenging problems in modern fiber construction. FDTIPMs are always at the forefront of the network construction industry in terms of innovation and technology maintaining focus on delivering industry leading networks for our customers. This role will have a focus on Quality Assurance of our Fiber Deployments. In this role you will be responsible for training and education of internal stakeholder and external contractors and partners. Kaizen process improvements change management and communication plans. You will be tasked with executing the roadmap and vison laid out for 2025 and setting the vision for development of the Quality Assurance program on a goforward basis.
Do you have deep experience in some/all of these specific disciplines Construction management fiber splicing OSP design/construction ISP construction or system installation/commissioning.
Are you well versed in GIS Salesforce or Smartsheets
Have you worked extensively in PowerBI Tableau or QuickSight creating data visualizations for your team or organization

Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and ensure the completed project meets these requirements via the QA process.
Understand fiber deployment types and ensure that QA Process supports compliance with AWS diversity requirements.
Deep understanding of the fiber construction process.
Program management risk mitigation and reporting status reviews to management and internal customers.
PowerBI Tableau or QuickSight (Preferred) creating data visualizations for your team or organization.
Long term interdependent process planning and implementation.
Understand the mechanisms used to deploy operate and maintain one of the worlds most complex fiberoptic networks.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work across multiple time zones
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Take on projects with ambiguous scope and bring clarity to the project risks and requirements prior to deployment.
Formulate comprehensive Roadmaps that become execution plans.
Work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to execute your vision.
Identify and onboard new partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities experience envisioning building and implementing end to end interdependent process coupled with a deep experience in managing the quality deployment of complex ISP/OSP projects.

3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e. network data center hardware software)
Experience envisioning building and implementing end to end interdependent process or familiarity with Kaizen Process Change Management Program Management frameworks.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
