Benefits eligible schoolyear position. Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to provide evaluation services direct intervention and consultation services for students in grades 48. Understanding of Maine Special Education Law regarding Speech/Language Services is required. Experience in the completion of Speech Language Impairment Eligibility form. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Provision of case management services to students identified under Speech/Language Impairment * Writing IEPs given student needs based on evaluation data * Providing direct services to students * Providing consultation services for students to IEP team members including special education and regular education teachers * Participation on DistrictWide Speech PLC team * Participation on buildingbased PLC teams including gradelevel teams special education teams RtI teams as needed * Direct consultation with outside Speech Therapy agencies * Support of Students using AAC devices* Billing MaineCare for speech sessions as required
