Accountable for: Were looking for acreative and detailoriented summer student to support our Marketing &Communications team. This is a handson role ideal for a student studyingmarketing communications website development or graphic design. If yourehighly organized designsavvy and comfortable working in digital tools likeCanva WordPress and Microsoft Office wed love to meet you! Youll help execute realprojects that make an impactfrom updating website content to creating brandedmaterials supporting events and inventory management. Youll get abehindthescenes look at how to keep marketing operations running smoothly. Work location: Calgary Alberta Term: May 20 2025 to August 222025 Working hours: 8:30am 4:30pm (35 hours/week) Wage: $18/hour Responsibilities: The primary responsibilitiesof the Summer Student are as follows (but not limited to): General Marketing: Website Support:Update web content and visuals in WordPress Template &Document Design: Refresh internal and external templates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Design Support:Assist in creating onbrand marketing materials for print digital and events Event Prep: Helpprepare materials and coordinate logistics for major summer events InventoryManagement: Track and organize branded swag printed materials and marketingsupplies General Admin:Support daytoday team activities such as formatting documents organizingshared drives and supporting campaign rollouts Qualifications andskills: Must be between theages of 16 and 30 as this position is partially funded by the Canada SummerStudent grant program Currently enrolledin a postsecondary education in business/marketing or related area andreturning to a postsecondary institution following your work term. Candidatesmust be at least in the 2nd year of their Program. Available andlegally authorized to work in Canada for a 14week full time workterm. Previous workexperience with administrative duties and supporting teams would be an asset. Soft skills: collaborationswith teams strong communication and positive attitude all desired skills forthis position. Knowledge &Skills: Passion andmotivation as a marketing generalist looking to increase knowledge of thisarea. Excellent verbaland written communication skills comfortable expressing ideas. Proficient in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word and PowerPoint) Experience with AdobeCreative Suite would be an asset Workingunderstanding of Wordpress required Ability to workindependently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams and externalpartners/suppliers. Demonstrate apositive and fun attitude with enthusiasm and assertiveness. High level ofprofessionalism confidence creativity initiative and commitment to success.
