Overview:
As an Automotive Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Perform bumpertobumper diagnosis and repair of vehicles.
Inspect and repair electrical and electronic systems.
Replace or repair transmissions and fuel system components.
Repair and maintain cooling systems including air conditioning and engine cooling.
Conduct emissions inspections safety checks and stateregulated vehicle exams.
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Complete accurate and legible documentation of work performed.
Conduct test drives to ensure quality of repairs.
Perform vehicle software updates.
Identify and document quality issues.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to determine root causes of quality problems.
Assist with quality engineering investigations vehicle teardowns and warranty repairs.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
Support engineering with special studies or projects.
Conduct vehicle quality and reliability audits.
Provide regular updates on vehicle repair status.
Collaborate with fellow technicians and service advisors for efficient workflow.
Stay current on latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately.
Required Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience preferably with Stellantis (Chrysler Jeep Dodge).
Excellent problemsolving abilities for diagnosing complex issues.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective time management and task prioritization.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift carry push and pull heavy objects regularly.
Comfortable working in various positions (climbing kneeling crawling etc..
High school diploma or GED.
Automotive certification from a recognized training program (e.g. ASE).
Valid drivers license.
