Center for Human Development Inc. is seeking a fulltime Youth & Young Adult Intensive Care Therapist to act as Mobile Response and Stabilization Service (MRSS) qualified mental health professional (QMHP) provider for crisis response responding to mental health crisis situations in Union County community for children 020. MRSS provides youth and families with a developmentally appropriate crisis intervention designed to meet the unique needs of youth young adults and their families. Responsible for treatment plans individual counseling and family therapy and psychoeducation for the InHome Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT) program. Supports the IIBHT program through services tailored to meet the individual needs of the youth and families. Access to a multidisciplinary team of professionals 24/7 proactive and crisis home response.

Qualifications
Masters degree in a behavioral sciences field required. Two years of relevant mental health experience with youth populations is preferred.
Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor strongly desired or ability to obtain upon hire.
Understanding of behavioral health assessments treatment and service terminology and ability to apply the concepts provide psychosocial skills development and implement interventions.
Knowledge of state and local systems and knowledge of youth care intensive treatment methods and practice.
Community partner and collaboration skills and community outreach skills.
Must possess a valid Oregon Drivers license and be insurable for client service purposes travel between business offices and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536181.537 and in accordance with OARand drug screening.
Essential Job Duties
When dispatched as part of a twoperson team the MRSS team will provide inperson crisis response
The MRSS team works with youth and families to understand the level of support needed and provide services based on support that is deemed necessary
Supports the IIBHT program as the therapist providing individual counseling and psychotherapy for youth and families.
Conducts psychological tests; prepares clinical evaluations and interprets results for the family and other agencies.
Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers clients and community partners such as hospital local and state law enforcement courts public schools etc.
Expected to work with considerable independence regarding methods and processes and to coordinate and collaborate with the school system and multiple agencies.
Maintains individual case records with progress notes and other pertinent information regarding the diagnosis treatment plan or termination; completes reports as required.
Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance.
Must have the ability to maintain positive and professional working relationships with coworkers clients and other agencies.
Participate on the Crisis Team rotation for back up of nighttime and daytime crisis workers
Other duties as assigned.
