Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Roll Form Designer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing roll form tooling fixturing and machinery to support both new process development and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to develop and optimize equipment solutions for assembly and manufacturing operations. What You Will Get To Do:

You will be planning and preparing production schedules for the manufacturing of KVs industrial and commercial products.

  • Design roll form tools straighteners press equipment and machining layouts for the tool room using Copra SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Support continuous improvement and process improvements
  • Provide quotes for new tooling and projects
  • Create designs that are manufacturable accurate and meet project scope
  • Participate in tooling design reviews
  • Create BOMs and routings in Oracle
  • Follow established design guidelines and standards
  • Follow the tools through their lifecycle including controlling revisions ordering backup rolls and components
  • Provide technical support to tool room personnel and improvements to manufacturing

What You Will Bring:

  • At least5 years of experience in tooling design in a manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook must be able to navigate AutoCAD and SolidWorks or similar systems; COPRA software would be a plus
  • Effective communication skills ability to work effectively with all levels of organization
