Overview
The Director Operations provides guidance and oversight for our Overland Park Kansas campus manages resources and collaborates with onsite leadership to ensure highest quality safe costefficient patient care is provided at Childrens Mercy Hospital Kansas. Director works collaboratively with departmental and hospital leadership to plan for new and/or expand services ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines continuously improve services and practices and supports an inclusive teamoriented work environment. This director will oversightof Lab Radiology Pharmacy PT/OT Food Services EVS Security Hearing and Speech as well as Facilities.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Provides onsite leadership and guidance in daily operations for assigned departments ensuring alignment to support the organizations mission and strategic priorities.
- Leads the application of evidence for leadership and operations improvements.
- Ensures the personnel workplace and technology resources are in place to provide the highest quality patient and family care and services.
- Collaborates with organizational leaders and staff to determine and achieve the strategic priorities and tactics supporting the organizations mission and vision.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 57 years experience in healthcare operations and progressive leadership.
- Or Masters Degree Preferred and 35 years experience

Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
