As aQuality Assurance Software Engineer Internon theGenesys CloudProduct team you will integrate with a highly skilled team to deliver new features in our product. Youll get the chance to participate in a highenergy development environment that ships great software while also maintaining a friendly laidback culture.
On top of building strong technical and soft skills Software Engineer Interns can expect great exposure to leaders across our Product business and depending on where they live have the flexibility to work inoffice fully virtual or a hybrid of the two.
One of the primary goals of our internship program is to find our next generation of longterm Genesys talent; 44% of last years intern class remains working at Genesys parttime during the school year and 70% of our eligible interns received offers to convert to fulltime employees!
Responsibilities/Job Duties
In this role the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Work with UI Development team members to help design develop and test features that meet the business needs of our customers and exhibit features that include high scalability availability and reliability
- Write and maintain unit integration and acceptance tests
- Perform collaborative code reviews with other developers
- Understand & comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws
- Adhere toGenesysCode of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Have Fun
Required Qualifications
- Actively pursuing aBachelorsin Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Interest in learning new technologies to integrate with current application stacks
- Familiarity with Java Cucumber Jenkins Selenium and Playwright
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $17.66 $51.59 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location.
