Technical Sales Engineer Industrial Safety Solutions UK North (Regional Travel Required)
Location: Remote / FieldBased within a Regional Territory (with HQ Support)

A market leader in industrial explosion protection systems is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their UK team focused on the North Region. This is an exciting opportunity to represent cuttingedge safety solutions in a fieldbased role that blends business development engineering insight and customer engagement.

What Youll Do:

  • Drive new business and grow market share across a defined regional territory.
  • Call on a diverse customer basemanufacturers engineering firms and distributorsto present innovative safety systems.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations and build brand recognition with clients and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers to design technical solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Identify new opportunities and guide thirdparty sales reps through training and technical support.
  • Represent the company at trade shows events and client meetings acting as an expert ambassador.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and strategic insights to help shape future product offerings.

What Youll Bring:

  • A technical qualification (BEng HNC/HND) in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent business degree with industry experience.
  • Proven experience in technical sales especially in fields like fire protection mechanical handling dust extraction silos or process equipment.
  • Strong understanding of process industries (e.g food pharma biomass) and the OEM supply chain.
  • Comfortable reading P&IDs and working with complex systems and stakeholders.
  • A natural hunter mindset with the drive to break into new markets and win business.

Travel Requirements:

  • Youll be on the road 60% of the time visiting clients across your region.
  • Occasional international travel may be required for training or trade shows.
