Were hiring a Tooling Technician III to join our skilled team in Chatham NY. This role is ideal for experienced machinists and mold technicians who are passionate about precision problemsolving and keeping production running smoothly. What Youll Do:

Perform advanced machining tasks including milling lathe turning precision grinding and fine polishing

Use metrology equipment to inspect and document tooling accuracy

Read and interpret mold prints 3D renderings and schematics
-
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems (valve gate hot runner motors etc.
-
Support mold setups and preventative maintenance in alignment with production schedules
-
Collaborate closely with processing maintenance and production teams to ensure efficiency
-
Document mold assembly procedures and updates within the IQMS system
-
Adhere to and help improve safety and housekeeping standards
What You Bring:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machine shop or mold maintenance environment
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Working knowledge of electrical circuits hydraulics and metrology equipment
-
Proficiency with Windowsbased programs
-
Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is a plus
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
