Your role as a Dining Room Coordinator
As a Dining Room Coordinator at The Waters/Broadwell Senior Living you will ensure that every meal is an exceptional experience for our residents and their guests. In this dynamic role youll manage all frontofhouse serving staff with handson guidance creating a welcoming atmosphere that mirrors the high standards of a hotel or private club restaurant. Collaborating closely with the Director of Culinary you will assess staffing needs and mentor Dining Servers to elevate service quality. Your leadership will be key to delivering the best dining experience where each meal is an opportunity to foster connection and joy among residents.

Requirements for this Dining Room Coordinator job
To thrive as a Dining Room Coordinator at The Waters/Broadwell Senior Living you will need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or GED is required along with at least two years of experience in restaurant or senior living environments focusing on serving and staff management. Strong leadership abilities will be crucial as you guide and mentor dining staff ensuring exemplary service. Familiarity with various tools and software used in dining operations will enhance your efficiency. Additionally a valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate is necessary or you must be willing to complete the course postemployment.
Your passion for hospitality attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to creating a memorable dining experience for our residents and their guests.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High school diploma or GED or the equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of two (2) years restaurant / senior living or equivalent serving and staff management and experience
- Valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed
